Welcome to South Africa! Your exciting journey begins today as you arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (Airport Code "JNB"). No need to worry about taxis or car rentals — we have arranged private transportation to ensure a smooth and comfortable transfer to your hotel.  Hotel is Marriott Melrose (or comparable)

Day 2 - Exploring the Heart of Soweto - November 8, 2026 - Sunday

Today’s journey leads you to the powerful and vibrant Soweto Township, a place where South Africa’s complex past meets its dynamic present. Known for its deep cultural roots and historical significance, Soweto offers an unforgettable glimpse into the spirit of resilience, community, and change. Begin with a visit to the Nelson Mandela Family Museum, once home to Madiba himself. Walk the halls where the struggle for freedom took form and let his legacy inspire you. A comfortable transfer will escort you to O.R. Upon your arrival in the Mother City, your dedicated driver will be waiting at Arrivals to greet you with a warm welcome. Day 9 -   Return to Jo'burg Goodbye, South Africa! - November 15, 2026 - Sunday

Prepare to bid farewell to the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of South Africa. Take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories you have gathered during your journey.
When you are ready, a private chauffeur will arrive to escort you in comfort and style to Cape Town International Airport. From here, you will board your flight back to Johannesburg to catch your connecting flight back home. *Schedule flights to depart back home after 3pm from J'urg airport*

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR BEIP TOURS SOUTH AFRICAN EXPERIENCE

What are cancellation and refund policies for this BEIP Tour?

If you want to cancel your booking, you must advise BEIP Tours in writing via email to reservations@blackexpatsinpanama.net. The notice must be received from the primary guest on the booking form.  If you do not receive acknowledgement of receipt of your cancellation notice within 24 hours, please check your Spam Folder and/or call 540.446.5107. 

Because of the special nature of the tour being offered, suppliers impose rigid cancellation fees. BEIP Tours has no control over these fees and cannot make any exceptions to these charges.  NO REFUNDS will be issued for payments received.  If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you MAY be able to reclaim these charges.  To take advantage of the most insurance options available, be sure to secure your insurance right away.  There are lots of travel insurance providers to choose from, however, this is a resource recommendation.  You can go here for travel insurance.

Events beyond our control:  We cannot assume liability for events beyond our control, including, war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, pandemic, viruses, COVID-19, health risks, technical problems with transport including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type for reasons beyond our control or that of our suppliers; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events.  TRAVEL INSURANCE IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED.
