ITINERARY

DAY 1: WELCOME TO PANAMÁ (Welcome Dinner Included)

January 16, 2026

RECOMMENDED ARRIVAL TIME MID DAY (2 PM) 

WELCOME TO THE BRISTOL PANAMA HOTEL

Welcome to Panama. Upon arrival (Tocumen Airport (PTY)), meet your driver outside and then head over to the BRISTOL PANAMA HOTEL (or comparable) (approximately 30 minutes drive) for check in and some time to relax. 

The BRISTOL PANAMA HOTEL is located on Avenida Aquilino de la Guardia in the Bella Vista neighborhood, the hotel is within walking distance to Calle 50, Avenida Balboa, and the Cinta Costera. The Iglesia del Carmen Metro Station is just a 4-minute walk away. 

Salsipuedes Restaurant offers gourmet Panamanian cuisine, reflecting the country’s multicultural heritage. The adjoining bar provides a selection of tapas and cocktails in a stylish setting.  

Enjoy a full-service spa with panoramic city views, offering massages, facials, and body treatments

We keep this afternoon open for you in case you want to schedule a tour or activity. Our welcome dinner will be at 7:00 pm. Afterwards, enjoy one of the nice bars at the hotel, or rooftops in the area as the night is yours to enjoy.

DAY 2: CULTURAL CARIBBEAN DAY IN COLON (Breakfast & Lunch Included)

January 17, 2026

Today we push off after breakfast and head north to Colon.  During the ride, you will learn about history and current events taking place in Colon. Take in the rich Afro Panamanian colors and vibes of Portobelo as we submerge ourselves in the Congo culture with great food and dancing. 

We will pass through the City of Colon (and stop for a photo at the Colon Sign) on our way to Portobelo where we will see the Black Jesus and local culture. For lunch we will enjoy a Caribbean style feast.  We will take a 15 minute ride via water taxi to Isla Mamey, a small Caribbean Island with clear waters and a sandy beach. We spend the balance of the afternoon enjoying fresh coconuts, soaking up the sun, enjoying great music and the peace that greets us from the moment we arrive at this Island. Just when you think the day could not get any better, we let you experience the “Tunnel of Love” and the Natural Pool on our way back to the mainland.  We head back to the City accompanied by the amazing “DJ Savannah” who will have us singing along and taking a stroll down memory lane all the way back to the City.

DAY 3: WESTIN ALL INCLUSIVE (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

January 18, 2026 

Sleep in (a little), grab some breakfast and then we transition to the beautiful Westin Playa Bonita All Inclusive Resort.  You will spend the next few days relaxing, eating delicious food, drinking quality beverages, laughing, dancing and coming together as a group. Enjoy the golden sands of Playa Bonita Beach and the many resort amenities, including three infinity-edge pools, six restaurants and Sensory Spa, 24-hour room service

Enjoy a leisurely morning at the resort. DAY 5: DAY OF LEISURE & FAREWELL DINNER (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

January 20, 2026 

Enjoy a free day at the resort to continue chatting it up with friends and playing games by the poolside with the ocean waves calmly crashing in the background. If you want more adventure choose from one of our amazing cultural or adventure tours. Relocation services, tours and information are also available.  

DAY 6: FREE TIME & DEPARTURE

January 21, 2026

Enjoy your last breakfast with new and old friends and spend your morning lounging by the pool or plan your final excursion before departing to the airport. Safe travels . . . you next time.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:

What are cancellation and refund policies for BEIP Tour Packages?

If you want to cancel your booking, you must advise BEIP in writing via email to reservations@blackexpatsinpanama.net. The notice must be received from the primary guest on the booking form.  If you do not receive acknowledgement of receipt of your cancellation notice within 24 hours, please check your Spam Folder and/or call 540.446.5107. 

To cover the cost of processing your order and cancellation and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements, cancellation fees are applied as shown below. The primary person on the reservation is responsible for paying cancellation fees for each guest listed on the reservation. The fee is based upon the date of receipt of cancellation notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations - $250 Cancellation Fee per reservation (Partial Refund)

Cancellations less than 30 days from travel date:  $450 Cancellation Fee (Partial Refund)

Cancellations 7 days of travel date: NO REFUND

Customers should expect a refund within 30 calendar days. 

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

Events beyond our control:  We cannot assume liability for events beyond our control, including, war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, pandemic, viruses, COVID-19, health risks, technical problems with transport including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type for reasons beyond our control or that of our suppliers; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events.  Credit for an alternate BEIP Tour MAY be available (restrictions apply).
